1. BEFORE YOU START

MANUAL & SUBJECTS, INTRODUCTION
Short introductions, 'how to' and examples

FIRST: Analyse the needs and wishes of your private or company archive.

Ask yourself:
Do I use it for cataloguing my digitized works? Just to have a proper searchable inventory? or to publish my work? or both?

Do I need to use the archive to work together with other members? or to form a network archive? or tell my personal stories while simultaneously archiving the relevant objects, images, documents, and more?

You will find explanations on the different methods of archiving in the manuals. The underlying system is the same, only the way of use can differ.

Key options are Archiving by Design, Archiving by Storytelling, Network Archiving and Private or Corporate archiving.
Different permissions may be needed and will be provided after consultation.

To continue:
Choose Subject
and click 'Go to Details' (arrow right) and read about 'PRIVATE USE' & 'COLLABORATIVE WORK'

PROFILE
Publishing your profile is important. Visitors of the website will find you if your 'line of work' and your curriculum are clear.
Based on your professional life and experiences the visitor will also find your archived and published work.

PUBLISHING YOUR OBJECT CATALOGUE
By selecting objects from your object catalogue, you can show the most important parts of your work.

PUBLISHING WORK RELATED TO EVENTS
If you are already published as participant in one of the listed events, you may add pictures of your event related work. That may be pictures of set designs, costumes, documents, recordings or any other event related item.
